The Android L update is the biggest update that Google has ever rolled out along with the totally new concept of the Material design enhances the fluidity of the Smartphone experience. The update also adds new features like Improvement in security, Revamped and totally new look notification bar along with the enhanced Lock screen notifications and quick settings. The update also arrived the multi-user support for the phones and many more.
Android L Update v.5.0.1
For the time when Google rolled the Android L (v.5.0) update, the Galaxy S5 was the first Samsung major Smartphone which got the latest Android update. The early reports pointed on the fact that both the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge will skip the Android 5.0 update, as these Smartphone’s will directly receive the Android L Update v.5.0.1 with all the bugs fixed with the 5.0 version had faced issues with. Further adding to this, Samsung has also posted 3 of it’s videos featuring the latest Android ver5.0.1 on the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, Galaxy Note 4, and also on the Galaxy S5 LTE. Before launching this new version for the respective Android Smartphone’s Samsung has pre-tested these new Android L updates for these Smartphone’s so the final version of the update could be a bit different from the tested Android 5.0.1 versions.
The latest Android L update featuring v.5.0.1 will not bring any big major changes to all these 3 Smartphone’s unlike the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE. Samsung further added that the Multi-User feature is missing on the Note 4 and the Note Edge for the test version but will be available for all three of these device in the Final Firmware update that would roll out.
