As we get close to the year end, Apple comes up with the list of best applications for iPhone and iPad. Close to 7, 00,000 apps are available for iPhone users on the iTunes store, and obviously the task to choose the best one must have been a tough one for the company. As competition among the top apps increases, probably they must have checked the number of downloads and popularity charts to make their choice.Apple selects best iPhone apps
The top app for iPhone selected by Apple this year goes to Action Movie FX, which is a free app with paid features designed by Bada Robot Interactive. This is an app that allows users to add varied special effects to their daily videos in Hollywood style. From bomb explosions to car crashes, everything can be added to videos.
The second spot was bagged by Figure 99c, which has been designed and developed by Propellerhead. This application helps in music creation by allowing users to create their own tunes in no time. While there are many users of this app, it is yet to get its share of success in terms of downloads and comparison with other apps. Interestingly, last year, the best application for iPhone was given to Instagram, which is now a part of Facebook.
Ubisoft’s Rayman Jungle Run, which is a paid game, has been chosen as the best game for the year 2012, with Apple announcing it as a “must-play experience.” Letterpress, designed and developed by Atebit, bagged the second spot in games. This is an app for vocabulary and is hugely popular among all kinds of users.
Apple’s list may have stunned many as the names are not as expected, but there is no denying that the list would help the named apps to get more popularity and downloads in coming days.
