Find yoga class app From hatha asana to vinyasa, here’s a new app for yoga lovers to find upcoming classes where ever you are. An iPhone app, Om Finder, helps users to detect yoga classes happening around them. It also shows the time for the classes and the direction to the yoga studio.
The vice-president of digital and brand strategy at Vancouver based yoga apparel company, Lululemon, Nancy Richardson said, “The vision was to get more people on planet Earth doing yoga.”
You can find yoga class app in around 7,000 studios across 63 countries worldwide. The time and type of yoga can be filtered including, hatha, power flow, vinyasa and hot yoga apps.
Richardson said, “It offers lots of different options to try different classes, types of yoga, and experience different teachers.”
The app also features over 30,000 instructor profiles and the schedule of their upcoming classes and makes it easier for yogis to keep up with the schedule of their favorite yoga instructor.
According to Rachel Acheson, vice president of brand and community at Lululemon, “The new people to yoga every year is substantial. Finding your teacher is one of the biggest things that drive commitment to practice.”
Invite friends by texting, tweeting, e-mail or Facebook message through the app. Within three days of the launching of this app it had been downloaded over 18,000 times placing it on the top spot on the Apple’s App store in the Health and Fitness category in Canada and on number three in the same category in the US.
