How to make the 3D Hologram projector
Sketch a basic trapezoid shape on the graph paper with dimensions of 1cm x 3.5cm x 6cm. If you want a bigger one, you can just double or triple these sizes and you will get a larger display area.
Now cut out the shape with a scissor.
This is what the cut out should look like.
Now get the CD case and peel out the sides and edges. Before using the case, just be sure that it does not have a lot of scratches as that will disrupt the quality of the image.
Carefully trace around the paper template on the CD case, to cut the shape out of it. Now, using a utility knife or glass cutter carefully cut out the trapezoid shape. Now you need 3 more similar pieces, so use the first one as a template to easily cut out three additional pieces.
Connect the four shapes together, with the longest sides facing the top of the structure. You can connect them either using tape or glue (glue will give a clear view). Your DIY projector is ready now.
It’s show time. Your projector is ready but the only thing remains is, selection of a great video. Load up the specific hologram logo you like, via Google or YouTube. Now play the video and place the projector in the centre of the screen. This will create a holographic view of the video.
Enjoy your 3D holograph!! Don’t forget to tell us about your experience.
