Lenovo Thinner ThinkPad with Price Tag or Lenovo has recently announced the T431 business ThinkPad for $950. The Ultrabook was launched by the company in 2012 that had a dismal showing and the HIS iSuppli has slashed its Ultrabook estimates from 61 million to 44 million units for the year 2013.
ThinkPad was designed after an intense research worldwide for over nine months amongst users who use ThinkPad and those who don’t. The result is out with 26 new features that includes new track pad with functionality and a very thin display bezel for the T431.
According to Lenovo’s spokesperson, Adrian Horne, “Lenovo’s Ultrabook models have been performing well in the market, and the new Ultrabook design is a natural evolution of the class leading ThinkPad T series. The T431 is optimized for business with a new backlit precision keyboard and 5 button glass touchpad, and continues the ThinkPad legacy for ruggedness and durability by meeting Mil-SPEC 8 standards.”
The subtle changes made in the new ThinkPad as a result of the research might not be obvious from the first glance itself. The screen resolution of T431 is not that high as some other Ultrabooks on the market.
“The ThinkPad T431 represents good value for an enterprise-class Ultrabook. We do not believe that the T431s has restricted features. The majority of users commented that a 1600×900 resolution on a 14-inch display was more than sufficient and minimized eye strain. The integrated HD graphics deliver the performance expected of this class of business machine.” concluded the Lenovo spokesperson Adrian Horne.
