Xiaomi Launched its Mi 4 in India along with its latest OS MIUI 6 with a price tag of Rs. 19,999. Xiaomi has always been known for its aggressive pricing with great specs and the Mi4 is no exception.
Unveiled in July last year this, the Mi 4 is a killer as far as specs are concerned. A full HD (1920×1080) 5 inch IPS display looks great and 3 GB RAM boosted by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 makes any task like a piece of cake for this device. It is a powerhouse with 3,080mAh battery and comes with 16 GB or 64 GB options.
It flashes a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, Sony IMX214 BSI sensor and 4K video recording, along with a 8MP front shooter with Sony Exmor R sensor for selfie lovers. It is obvious that the smartphone will run on the Android 4.4.3 Kitkat.
Xiaomi also unveiled its new OS the MIUI 6 which is again a look alike of the iOS offering similar user experience. The user interface and the design look great with more details, colours and better security features. Xiaomi claims that the user interface is much less distractive than the previous versions being a simple one. Sale of the device will be in the same manner as was for the previous Xiaomi devices. The ‘Flash sale’ starts on February 19, 2015 and the registrations will start today from 6 PM.
There are speculations in the mobile world, whether the device will be a hit or a flop but considering the features and the price tag we do expect it to be a hit. Even the history favours the Xiaomi, but then there wasn’t the Oneplus One which can be the greatest threat to Xiaomi.
