ZTE Star 2 Specs and Features

ZTE Star 2

Finally we are at the end of 2014 and it seems like the Chinese Smartphone Manufacturers have been on a launching spree. First the Elephone P6000 (the First Chinese Smartphone which featured the latest Android L (v.5.0) pre-installed on it) and now the ZTE Star 2 Smartphone. There were a lot of rumors regarding the specs, pricing and the launching date for this device. The Star 2 is a fully voice controlled Smartphone. The voice commands will help you to take pictures, switch between apps, and make phone calls easily with just a simple voice command input. ZTE claims that the voice command features are highly responsive, with a success rate of 90% being achieved in their implementation even under abnormal or inappropriate noise conditions (where the response time was calculated to be just 1.2 seconds).

The global availability of this Smartphone is a very big question by ZTE has told that the Star 2 will roll out in different countries in the Q1 of 2015. This will be one of the few phones (as of now) that would have 4G compatibility so it would probably be a hot product in metro cities in India. The true test of the performance of the device and its stated features will be evaluated after the Smartphone is launched globally. Along with the fact that the battery of the Smartphone seems to be quiet disappointing as a 2300 mAH battery is not sufficient enough for such a high end Smartphone.
